Bird Shelters
Although we'd like to think there are few birds in need of rescue or sheltering, we all know there are plenty of parrots who have been shuffled from place to place by those who were unable to cope with, or were never trained in how to handle, normal parrot behavior. There are birds who have lost their homes due to moves and other family changes. There are those who were abused and neglected, AND we know there are people out there in our community who have been looking out for these birds. Please let us know if you know someone who has taken on this much needed and very difficult task.
